Australia is currently facing one of its worst bushfire seasons on record. Since November 2019 fires have been burning across several states, destroying hundreds of properties and businesses.
If you or your Business have been affected by the bushfires, the Australian Taxation Office want you to know there's no need to worry about your tax obligations for now. They understand you need to focus on your family in this time.

Using your current postcode on file, they have granted an automatic 2 month extension for any lodgements which fall due. They will be updating the list of affected areas as required in the coming weeks.
